In today’s date, it is seen that even though a child is provided with all facilities, still he/she is not satisfied and go in for depression or show aggressive behavior. Many a time it is seen that a student is good in academics, has all facilities, but still suffers from depression. It has been identified that the main reason for this is the failure of the child to value small pleasure. Also, many students are detached from social support, friends, family, and nature. To identify the cause of unhappiness Project CHILD mental health experts have developed an assessment tool called “HAPPY CHILD INDEX” to study happiness and area which needs attention. It is a 180 parameter assessment to help students measure happiness and overcome their shortcomings. It is an unique innovative measure to provide an all-round support to a child.
